The Forest Toys of Brockenhurst … and more
Although the Forest Toys Foxhounds are the most easily found dogs, a family like this is very unusual. Adult dogs also come scenting and running. Look out for an open mouth version of the latter. These are some of the fifty plus to be found in my book The Forest Toys of Brockenhurst
This beautiful dog is another one made by The Forest Toys of Brockenhurst from my book and is rather like the real one we used to own.

From my book this hardy and tenacious dog was bred to hunt otter, fox and vermin. They also make excellent guard dogs too. This little chap stands 2.5cm high.
For those of you who have my book, a small correction. The primate on page 64 is a chimpanzee not a gorilla. I had not seen it for myself until recently.
Another dog from my book. Interesting how the grain of the wood looks rather like the dogs ribs. He is 5cm high.
Unless you saw this dog next to an OES you might think they were the same, but this one is 6cm high, 2cm more. Also he has a long tail. Both can be seen in my book.
This bird is not in my book. He has long metal legs, probably lead and good big feet to help him keep his balance.
This is one that is NOT in my book. He looks enormous next to the two tiny penguins.
I was away for a few days recently and came across this delightful baby bear. As he isn’t finished with sawdust and paint, I wondered if he does not belong to this big bear, but perhaps might be part of a set of Goldilocks and The Three bears. The mummy and daddy in the set have clothes, but I don’t think baby has.
